We want to ensure you are able to access content as quickly as possible. Also, the AHA made a simple decision to do our part in decreasing our carbon footprint and to reduce the environmental impact of printing and shipping a physical textbook, therefore moving forward we will fulfill ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Coding Handbook review copies in an ePub format.
Yes, in order to gain access to the AHA Coding Handbook for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS your school/organization would need to be using the textbook currently for applicable classes in a CAHIIM- or PCAP-accredited program.

Internet Explorer, while still available in Windows 10 as well as the older operating systems, is no longer being developed. Because of this, as webpages and apps continue to advance and move on, Internet Explorer stays as it is, more and more pages and apps no longer work properly (or as securely) as they once did on IE.
To access your Coding Clinic subscription, please use a different browser. We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
The AHA is independent of all vendor software that includes encoders, auditing, and claims software. We cannot provide any dates or timelines when AHA Coding Clinic content will appear in those tools. Please contact your software or encoder provider for more information. Once you have purchased the ePub on the Coding Clinic Advisor website, you may download the file by visiting My Account --> My Purchases. The ePub will appear under the Coding Handbooks section.
There are several eReader options to access the ePub. EPub files can be opened on different eReader devices, including Kobo and Barnes & Noble's Nook. You can also open the file on your desktop using one of the many free ePub reading programs, including Adobe Digital Editions, Calibre, or Stanza Desktop. Finally, iPhone and Android devices come preloaded with their own applications to open ePub files--iBooks and Google Play.
Review copies are complimentary but are only for those reviewing the Handbook for a class or program, but have not yet made a final decision. Desk copies are also complimentary, but are reserved for teachers or professors who have already assigned the Handbook in a course. Both review and desk copies will be distributed electronically.
